He is survived by: his uncle Alver (Clarence); his wife Sigrid of Montevideo; his children, Danelle Groothuis (Troy) of Maynard, MN, Deborah Donner (William) of DeSmet, SD and Michael Olson (Stephanie) of Spicer, MN; his grandchildren, Jessica Korsmo (Michael), Kirsten Hutt (Joseph), Nicholas Groothuis (Jessica), Cassandra Allinder (Mason), McKensi Donner, Robert Donner, Makenna, Kaden and Sidney Olson; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Abbigail, Sophia Korsmo, Cohett, Keller Hutt, Syd and Maisee Allinder; his siblings, Merle Olson (LaMerna), Carol Prekker (Ronald) and Kenneth Olson (Kathleen); and his sister-in-law Carol Thorstad. He is also survived by several extended family and friends.
