She is survived by: her children, Ryan Backer (Lael) of Montevideo and Tara Richardson (Brandon Hill) of Watson; her stepdaughter Melissa Wheeler (Bob) of Milbank, SD; her grandchildren, Jesse Backer, Brady Backer, Josephine Backer, Cohler Nelson and Caiden Harwick; her stepgrandchildren, Tasia Ehlenz, Cody Miller, Dustin Miller and Keagen Wheeler; and her sisters, Loretta Yrdanoff of Texas, Lorrie Hill of Montevideo and Lorraine Larson of Watson. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (12055 20th St NW, Watson, MN 56295). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery (12055 20th St NW, Watson, MN 56295).
