Donald Rynda Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2025, at the age of 94, Donald Rynda of Montgomery, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rynda and Bessie Rynda (Slavik); his wife Ruth Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Kriha, Edward Smith, Mary Anne McNab (Leo) and Joan Eich (John).
He is survived by: his sons, Bill Rynda (Donna Poshusta) of Montgomery, Tim Rynda of Montgomery, Bob Rynda (Mary Spees) of Las Vegas and Ken Rynda of Oakdale; his grandsons, Stephen Rynda of Montgomery and Ryan Rynda (Ashley) of Alexandria; his great grandchild Ava Rynda; his siblings, Bob Rynda (Carol) of Bloomington, Rita Kriha of Hastings and Karen DuChene (Mike) of Faribault; and his sister-in-law Loretta Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home (200 3rd St SE, Montgomery, MN 56069). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (206 Vine Ave W, Montgomery, MN 56069).
