He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Maxa and Salbina Maxa (David); his sister Ludy Berg (Maxa); his grandson Andrew Maxa; his son-in-law Troy Perrigo; and his great grandchild Clyde Allen Perrigo.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Maxa; his children, Mike Maxa (Nancy), Rick Maxa (Kary) and Vicki Perrigo (Maxa); and his sister Lucille Palma (Maxa). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
