She was predeceased by: her parents, James Severns and Helen Severns (Puncochar); her brother Tom Severns; her niece Tanya Westphal; and her nephews, Larry Clough and Kevin Hinderscheit.
She is survived by: her husband Dan; her children, Nicole Scheel and Dan Scheel (Julie); her grandchildren, Leelynn, Lylah, Ella and Olivia; her siblings, Donnie Severns, Mike Severns and Mary Braith (Vic); and her in-laws, Denise Smisek (Tony), Rodney Scheel (Shannon) and Bonnie Aebly. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
She showed her kindness in many ways from growing her hair to donate to Locks of Love and giving blood so often to the American Red Cross that she nearly earned her 10-gallon pin.
