It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin E. Phipps of Montgomery, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Verlyn 'Bud' and Lillian Phipps (Walters); his wife Diane Mayfield (Broe); his children, Karis Baumann (Travis Jeddeloh) of Waseca and Eric Phipps of Anoka; his grandchildren, Shyanne Nordquist (Josh Hensley), Kody Baumann, Trevin Jeddeloh, Jade Phipps, Alexis of Arie, AJ and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Freya and Oliver Hensley; his sister Lea Osborne of Chatfield; his stepbrothers, Gary Asleson (Pat) of Iowa and Tom Asleson (Ethel) of Fergus Falls; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Broe (Shelly) of Ft. Worth, Jim Schutkowski of Mayer and Les Holte (Lana) of Fergus Falls. He was also cherished by nieces; nephews; other relative and friends.
Kevin retired in 2019 he continued to work part time until the pandemic.
Kevin's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to LifeSource in honor of Kevin.
