He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Berninghaus and Eleanor Berninghaus (Zinnel); and his wife Cindy. He is survived by: his children, Lori Berninghaus Kroells (John Peters), Lyle Berninghaus and Lee Berninghaus (Molly O'Neil); and his siblings, Dennis Berninghaus (Pam) of Savage and Gail Novak of Le Center. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
