He is survived by: his wife Terry (Ziesmer Sandvik); his stepson Nate Sandvik; his grandchildren, Jack, Sam, Charlie and Frankie; his mother Jeanne R. Melsha; his siblings, Mary Jo Melsha, Nancy Bendtsen (James), Tom Melsha, Lisa Ellis, Mike Melsha (Monika), Patty Gorman (Mark), Kathy Iannazzo (Jon) and Christopher Melsha (Tara); and his friend Bill W.. He is also survived by his 23 nieces/nephews and 28 great nieces/nephews.
