He was predeceased by : his father Alvin Mielke. He is survived by : his wife Linda Marie Schmidt of Peter's Lutheran Church; his children, Lee Mielke (Christin), Payton, Parker, Cameron of Ramsey, MN, Kristen Sonju (Christopher), Ellie, Ethan and Ava of Glencoe, MN.; his mother Lois Mielke; and his siblings, David Mielke (Rhonda), Douglas Mielke (Mary), Dean Mielke and Kim Mielke (Brad Lundquist). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Quiet Oaks Hospice House, to Mayo Clinic for cancer research, the American Cancer Society, Trinity Lutheran Church, or your favorite local school sports program.
