As Dave departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dave. Though Dave may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Schraut and Mayolia Schraut (Brunner); and his brothers, John and James Schraut. He is survived by: his fiancée Cheryl Spade; his daughter Alexa Schraut; his pet Daisy Mae; and his siblings, Joe Schraut and Carol Schraut.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parish Prayers Being. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (442 2nd St SE, St Cloud, MN 56304).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred or donations to be made to a colon cancer research program of your choice.
