David Lounsbury Obituary
David Harold Lounsbury died on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 10:05 AM surrounded by all of his family. He was 92.
He is survived by three daughters, Laura (The Potter) Lounsbury, Lani Perry (Dr. Elaine Happ), and Lisa Lounsbury; also survived by his two sons-in-law, David Perry and Larry Carlson. Dave was also a wonderful grandpa to Hannah and Hayley, Jen and Monica, Ryder, Kate, Emily and Jack. He is also a great grandpa to five.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie, who he adored; his youngest daughter, Cindy Johnson; plus eleven siblings.
Dave worked as a lineman at NSP and was proud of his ability to climb poles. His greatest passion was wood -cutting wood, splitting wood, hauling wood and heating with wood.
He had a smile on his face at all times and never met someone he didn't like. He will be missed.
Visitation will be held on from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 12449 Clementa Avenue NW, Silver Creek Twp, MN. Interment to follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Silver Creek Twp, MN. The family will host a luncheon back at the church after the interment.
