He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald K. Evenson Sr. and Arlene M. Harrington; his wife Beth Evenson; and his siblings, Mike Evenson and Diana Weller.
He is survived by: his daughter Heather Horstmann (Jake); his grandchildren, Harper and Blaze Horstmann; his brother Eldon Miller (Karen); and his stepfather Ronald Larson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
