James E. Johnson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Johnson of Monticello, Minnesota, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Johnson and Sylvia Johnson (Schwalbe); his siblings, Skip, Butch, Tom, Danny and Bonnie; his stepdaughter Chris Thole; and his grandson Nick Chock.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Johnson (Vinny), Cory Johnson, Cara Trebbensee and Casey Johnson; his grandchildren, Madalyn, Charlie and Asher; and his sisters, Pat Williams (Ed), Lynn Johnson and Joan Buske. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peterson Chapel (119 Central Ave, Buffalo, MN 55313). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
