He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ring Hartner; his son Kevin Hartner; and his parents, Clarence and Evelyn. He is survived by: his son Adam Hartner (Melissa); his grandchildren, Alexis, Ella, Kiley and Meadow; his daughter-in-law Beth Hartner; his grandchildren-in-law, Joshua, Silas, Hartley Jo, Jacob, Joseph and James; his son Kristopher Hartner (Susanna); his grandchildren, Paul and Kate; and his siblings, Sandy, Lynn and Lee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peterson Chapel (300 Main St N, St Michael, MN 55376). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
