It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Crummy of Monticello, Minnesota, who passed away on March 27, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Simonitsch and Mary Simonitsch; her husband David Crummy; and her son Jacob. She is survived by: her children, Richard (Christy) of Monticello, Brenda Fisette (Jim) of Monticello, Charlie (Amanda) of Maplewood, Krissy (Shawn Heffernan) of Las Vegas and Caitlin (James Coyle) of Monticello; her grandchildren, Michael Fisette (Maggie), Jacob, Alexander (Ashley), Katie Fisette, Conor, Ian, Grayson, Quinn, Larkin, Arya, Elouise and James; her great grandchildren, Jane and Bennett; her siblings, Bob Simonitsch (Jo) of Virginia Beach, VA, Anna Weber (Lloyd) of Endeavor, WI, Tom (Marge) of Baraboo, WI, Irene (Nick) of Milwaukee, WI, Charles Simonitsch, Roland Simonitsch and Mary McConaughey (Simonitsch); and her niece Buffie Simonitsch.
Many of the activities that she was involved in included 4H (Key Leader), Special Olympics volunteer, volunteering for Education MN at the State Fair, donating blood to the Red Cross (20 gallons over her lifetime!).
