He was predeceased by: his parents, Baltis Gilles and Emily Gilles (Otten); his parents-in-law, Don and Joyce Sutton; his brothers, Sylvester, John and Tony; and his siblings-in-law, Tanya and Rick.

He is survived by: his wife Lori Gilles (Sutton); his children, Patrick Jr., Amy (Brian), Carol (Tony), Bradley, Trista (Dustin) and Grady; his grandchildren, Emilie, Lillie, Kegan, Hunter, Noah, Kinlee and Bristol; his brothers, Leonard (Mary) and David (Barb); and his siblings-in-law, Kim (Greg), Lee (Deanna) and Stacy (Bob).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel (250 W Broadway St, Monticello, MN 55362). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peterson - Grimsmo Funeral Chapel.
