He was predeceased by: his son Todd Stach; his son-in-law Andy Anderson; his parents, Peter Stach and Alvina Stach; and his siblings, Agnes Koppes, Angie Schutz and Robert Stach.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Stach; his children, Wayne Stach (Barb), Scott Stach (Deb), Shelly Anderson, Ricky Stach and Trudy Zalomsky (Jim); and his grandchildren, Anthony, Amy Jo, Daniel, Kristy, Jenny, Kelly, Jason, Justin, Jesse, Chris, Kristopher, Nick and Miranda. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Henry (1001 E 7th St, Monticello, MN 55362). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
