It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Rust of Monticello, Minnesota, who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Ryan Rust; her parents-in-law, Gene and Sonja Rust; and her grandparents, Harry, Betty Schirmer, George and Catherine Schaming.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Rust; her children, Rachel Rust and Bryanna Thomas (Steven); her grandson William Robinson; her parents, Dale Schirmer and Kathy Schirmer; her sister Suzy Thorstenson (Cory); and her sister-in-law Julie Allen. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
