He was predeceased by: his father Francisco Vega; and his brother Johnny. He is survived by: his mother Julia Vega (Gutierrez); his wife Betty Gallegos; his children, Julia Brown (Juan), Alonzo Vega, Jr. (Olivia) and Jeanette Vega (Nyssa); his brother Albert Vega (Guadelupe); and his godchildren, Ricardo Longoria (Jahira) of Glyndon, MN and Audrey Longoria. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one-great-granddaughter.
