He was predeceased by : his parents, Celia Jimenez Gonzalez and Guadalupe Cardenas Hurtado; his wife Martha Cardenas; and his siblings, Raul De Luna, Rosalinda De Luna, Sonia Margarita Cardenas and Guadalupe Cardenas.
He is survived by : his children, Armando Cardenas, Jr., Luis Cardenas, Claudia Vargas (Salvador), Edna Maldonado (Adrian) and Jennifer Toma (Runi); and his siblings, Elva De Luna, Martha De Luna, Gloria Estela De Luna and Jose Angle De Luna. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
