She was predeceased by : her parents, Bette Schmidt and Hugo Schmidt. She is survived by : her son Noah (Bethany Vetter); her husband Chris Kilsdonk; her son Joseph Kilsdonk (Jessie); and her sister Sue Richey (Kent). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Minnesota's Future Forest Fund (https://www.dnr.state.mn.us) or PFLAG (https://pflag.org) as Carol had a passion for nature and equal rights for all.
