Carol M. Sonstelie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol M. Sonstelie of Moorhead, Minnesota, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Braaten and Marion Braaten (Scott); her daughter Carla Jenson; her sister Dorothy Gordon; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon, Rodney Sonstelie and Karen Jacobson.
She is survived by : her husband Arvid Sonstelie; her children, Ann Leuthard (Dale), Beth Daniel (Mike Dindorf) and Dean Sonstelie (DeeDee); her son-in-law Jay Jenson; her grandchildren, Nicole Johnson, Gary Daniel, Trenton Daniel, Jessica Chen, Alex Leuthard, Sarah Jenson and Racia Henrichs; her great grandchildren, Isabel Johnson, Vivienne Johnson, Kai Chen and Elijah; her siblings, Allen Braaten, Bonnie Olson (Russ) and Gary Braaten; and her sister-in-law Marie Ripp. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
They settled back in Moorhead for good in 2018 as Carol's Alzheimer's began to advance.
