He was predeceased by: his sister Debra "Debbie" Hjalmquist. He is survived by: his parents, Carl Hjalmquist and Joan Hjalmquist; his sisters, Doreen Peters (Jim) and Diane Brendemuhl (Wayne); his children, Tara Hjalmquist and Tyler Hjalmquist (Joni); and his grandchildren, Griffin and Millie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
