He is survived by: his significant other Jennifer Tollefson; his son Mason Hughes of Wahpeton, ND; his siblings, Dorothy Ann Thiessen of Fargo, Kathie Jenson (Dale) of Moorhead and Jim Hughes (Marcy Thompson) of Glyndon, MN; his sister-in-law Becky Hughes of Woodstock, GA; and his mother-in-law Jodi Tollefson of Rochester, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
