He was predeceased by: his daughter Dana Freeport; and his parents, Andrew Teschendorf and Esther Teschendorf. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Walvatne; and his children, Dawn Beavers (Pete), David (Kari), Dian and Darcie Ewert (Dan).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to David's preferred charities; Arthritis Foundation, Churches United, Great Plains Food Bank, New Life Center, Pathways, Red River Youth For Christ, or the Salvation Army Fargo/Moorhead.
