He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robinson and Betty Jean Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Julie Olson Robinson; his sons, Matthew and David Robinson; and his siblings, George Robinson (Carla) and Audrey Robinson Favorito (Craig).
In lieu of flowers and customary remembrances, the family kindly requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to the charity Gene chose, New Life Center Foundation in Fargo, a Christian organization dedicated to serving people experiencing addiction and/or a lack of shelter.
