He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gast and Dorathea Gast (Weber); and his siblings, Don Lelm, Delores Bezenek and Warren Gast.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Quam; his sons, Craig Gast (Katie) and Kevin Gast (Chrissy); his grandchildren, Callie, Kelsey, Isaac and Morgan; and his mother-in-law Fern Foyt. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Christ the King Lutheran Church to pay down their mortgage principal.
