He is survived by: his wife Norma Gromaski of Moorhead, MN; his children, Anne Weiss (Jim) of Circle Pines, MN, Paul Gromaski of Valley City, ND, Julie Dwyer (Mike) of Thornton, CO and Stephanie Gromaski of Clearwater, FL; his grandchildren, Kelsey Rapopport, Erika Vega (Jessie), Dana Gromaski, Nicholas Dwyer (Amanda) and Erin Brewer (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Mycah Gromaski, Aidin Gromaski, Ally Gromaski, Ashlee Pino, Ethan Pino, Caleb Dwyer and Norah Brewer; his stepsons, John Stende (JodI) and Don Stende (Elizabeth Thompson); his stepgrandchildren, Rebecca Stende, Alex Stende and Arie Bell (Will); his siblings, Dorothy Kissane (Bob) of Midland, MI and Robert Gromaski (Kathy) of Bay City, MI; and his sister-in-law Gail Gromaski. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (218 10th St S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fargo National Cemetery (8709 40th Avenue North, Co Rd 20, Harwood, ND 58042).
