We bid farewell to James Aas of Moorhead, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 29, 2025 at the age of 89. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Aas and Emma Aas (Karlstrom); his former wife Ruth Burnside; his siblings, Ward Aas (Maxine), Curtis Aas and Jean Aas; and his son Mike Trom.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Trom; his daughters, Nancy Sego (Lewis) of Rockford, MN and Carol Jo Stevenson (Dennis) of Elk River, MN; his grandchildren, Preston Sego (Rachel), Taylor Sego (Ally), Jamie Wheeler-Workman (Jeremy), Andi Wheeler, JoDee Wheeler, Ben Czeck (Ashtyn), Ashleigh Brittan (Jared) and DeVante Stevenson; and his great grandchildren, Brody, Riley Brittan, Wren, Rowan, Woods Workman, Sonny Czeck, Ezra and Raya Sego. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Christ (1900 14th St S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
