He was predeceased by: his parents, John Aas and Emma Aas (Karlstrom); his former wife Ruth Burnside; his siblings, Ward Aas (Maxine), Curtis Aas and Jean Aas; and his son Mike Trom.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Trom; his daughters, Nancy Sego (Lewis) of Rockford, MN and Carol Jo Stevenson (Dennis) of Elk River, MN; his grandchildren, Preston Sego (Rachel), Taylor Sego (Ally), Jamie Wheeler-Workman (Jeremy), Andi Wheeler, JoDee Wheeler, Ben Czeck (Ashtyn), Ashleigh Brittan (Jared) and DeVante Stevenson; and his great grandchildren, Brody, Riley Brittan, Wren, Rowan, Woods Workman, Sonny Czeck, Ezra and Raya Sego. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
