It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James P. Gotta (Moorhead, Minnesota), who passed away on May 30, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of James P. Gotta to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gotta and Linda Gotta; his wife Fern Ottoson; and his brothers, Joe and Jocko.

He is survived by: his children, Joe, Linda Ahlfors (Jim) of San Antonio, TX, James Gotta (Robin) of Sartell, MN, Susan Metzger (Don) of Colorado Springs, CO, Joseph Gotta (Mary) of Moorhead and Jay Gotta (Beth) of Bismarck, ND; and his brother Jerry (Irene) of Sacramento, CA.. He is also survived by grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held on June 13, 2020, at 4PM in Lake Eunice Cemetery, Detroit Lakes, MN.
