Janice leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Janice’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Matzek (Gjesvold) and Julius Matzek; her husband Lem Burnside; and her sisters, Levetta Possehl (Vernon) and Marilyn Scherzer (Charles).
She is survived by: her significant other Donald Estenson of Moorhead, MN; her children, Renee Wimmergren (Steven) of Prior Lake, MN and Scott (Deirdre); and her sister Judy Hovde (Dale) of Lake Park, MN. She is also survived by three grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
