She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernhard Renslow and Ella Renslow (Winjum); her former husband Lumir Matejka; her sons, Darrell Matejka and Lee; and her brother James Odell Renslow.
She is survived by: her husband Willie of Detroit Lakes, MN; her children, Laurel Striefel and Gregg Matejka (Heidi); her sister Eileen Hurley (Harlow); her grandchildren, Danielle Rethemeier (Patrick), Cassie Harris (Brad), Brittany Kilgore (Cody), Aaron Matejka, Courtney Striefel and Nick Striefel; her children, Kathleen Hoffmann (Gordon) and Tony Blauert; and her grandchildren, Grant Hoffmann (Rachel) and Heidi Gronning (Adam). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home and Cremation Service-Moorhead (605 2nd Ave S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at the Hawley Cemetery (303 225th St N, Hawley, MN 56549).
