It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Bernard Sand of Moorhead, Minnesota, born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sand and Minnie Sand; his siblings, Donald Sand (Marilyn) and Jane Branvold (Elmer); and his nephew Randy Joyner.

He is survived by: his wife Rochelle Amelia Perfect Barbero; his daughters, Kimberly Ferguson (Doug) of Louisville, CO and Melissa Fabian (Matthew) of Mason City, IA; his grandchildren, Jeremy Ferguson (Brianne), Robbie Ferguson (Kelli), Rebecca Ferguson (Kyle), Lily Fabian, Samuel Fabian and Paul Fabian; and his great grandchildren, Caitlynn Aragon, Sydney Ferguson, Caden Ferguson, Jamie Ferguson, Kru Ferguson, Bella Ferguson, Jo Ferguson, Geno Ferguson and Bristol Ferguson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
