We are sad to announce that, on March 31, 2020, at the age of 77, John L. Carney (Moorhead, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Bus" and Julia Carney (Skjaret); and his siblings, Thomas "Buddy" and Gail Cain. He is survived by: his wife LaVaughn Hanson; his children, Robert Hanson (Lisa) of Hattiesburg, MS and Robyn Tellez (Rudy); his grandchildren, Shaina Barber (Ben) of Columbia, SC, Bobby Hanson (Amanda), Samuel Hanson, Daniel Hanson, Joshua Carney (Mary) and Alexis Carney; his great grandchildren, Leah Hanson and Liliana Carney; and his siblings, Jerry Carney (Bette), Mike Carney (Nancy), Joe Carney (Jenny), Mary Arnseth (Roger), Barb Carney, Julienne Roufs (Ron) and Patty Brasel (Ray). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
