She was predeceased by: her parents, Christina Johnson (Michels) and George Johnson; her husband Dr. John R. Holten; her brothers, Richard, Donald and George Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Ardyce Johnson, Joyce Schoenfish and David Holten.
She is survived by: her children, John M. Holten (Sandra) of Surprise, AZ, Karin Gardner (Mike) of Littleton, CO, Paul Holten (Anne) of Golden Valley, MN, Erik Holten (Jill) of Vadnais Heights, MN and Andrea Rowley (Jack) of Lakewood, CO; her grandchildren, Christina O'Connor, Rebekah Read, Mollie Lucero, Kristine Stevens, Katherine Holten, John R. Holten, Daniel Holten, Matthew Holten, Cecelia Lauermann, Anna Karel Vlaming, Samuel Holten, Annaleise Rowley and Amelia Rowley; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Holten. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
