It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kate Sams of Moorhead, Minnesota, born in Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Evert and Ruth Evert (Miller); and her brother Daniel Evert. She is survived by: her husband Randal Sams; her daughter Katrina Andel (Tyler); her grandchildren, Addison, Riley and Brody; and her sister Mary Wiegand. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
