She was predeceased by : her parents, Mathew Moore and Clara Moore (Erickson); her husband Arnold Mjones; and her siblings, Helen Jacobson and James Moore.

She is survived by : her children, Roger Mjones (Lori), Rick Mjones (Marilyn), Linda Kostich (Dan) and Sandy Torgerson (Brian); and her sister Leona Mattson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

LaVerna had Alzheimer's but Alzheimer's never had LaVerna.
