He is survived by: his children, Brenda Illg (Tim) of Glyndon, MN and Ryan Lakeman (Kelli) of Plymouth, MN; his grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Shawn and Lauren; and his siblings, Kenneth Lakeman (Judy) and Vi Rheinhardt.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home - Moorhead (605 2nd Ave S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home - Moorhead Starts (605 2nd Ave S, Moorhead, MN 56560).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to HIA Hospice, Fargo, ND.
