She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Ruff and Edward Ruff; her husband Wallace Meland; her siblings, Arlene Joyce Ruff, Idella Schott Wilson and Larry Ruff; her siblings-in-law, Clifford Schott, Wayne Wilson, Marvin Mayer and Sharon Ruff; and her children-in-law, Robert Crandall and Kathy Meland.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Meland, Dianne, Peggy Crandall of Fargo, ND and David Meland; and her siblings, Darrell Ruff (Etala) and Carol Azzam (Roger). She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
