He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Halland and Jean Halland (Mann); his sister-in-law Betty Halland; his parents-in-law, Madonna Desrocher (Svir) and Wilbur Desrocher; and his siblings-in-law, Anna and Ray Desrocher.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Halland; his daughters, Jacki Martinson (Korey), Kristin Feltman (Roger) and Jill Stuart (Daniel); his grandchildren, Tyler, Aspyn, Blakely, Kase Martinson and Gemma Stuart; his siblings, Jo Arlene Uselman (Benjamin), Ronald Halland (Glenda), Maynard Halland (Nancy), Mary Lee Van Portfliet (Wade), Debra Stuhaug (Roger), Diane Wiser (Dean), Terry Halland (Denise) and Timothy Halland; and his uncles, Lester Halland (Darlene) and Phillip Halland (Gloria). He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Moorhead American Legion.
