She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Fjelstad and Mable Fjelstad (Walberg); her husband Carlott; her daughters-in-law, Carol and Cindy; and her siblings, Amy Lechner (Vic), Judy Lynnes (Allen), Ella Gronbeck (Ernest), Clayton Fjelstad, Wallace Fjelstad and Oscar Fjelstad, Jr. (Carol).
She is survived by: her children, Gary (Joyce Bear), Carlotta Spelhaug (Terry), Craig (Laurie), Galen (Deb) and James; her grandchildren, Brian Andvik, Brad Andvik (Anna), Adam Spelhaug (Nicole), Taya Spelhaug (Grant Israelson), Missy Klemin (Jake), Matt Andvik (Macey), Nicholas Andvik, Katie Muckenhirn (Eric), Jacob Andvik (Morgan), Olivia Andvik and Samuel Andvik; her great grandchildren, Tanner, Brielle, Hannah, Haley, Averie, Brady, Ava, Grant, Izaak, Sydney, Connor, Ryker, Kyla, Wyatt, Cayson, Peyten, Bryden, Ella, Addilyn, Aiden, Olive and Davis; her siblings, Alletta Smeby (Harlan) and Carl Fjelstad (Zita); and her sister-in-law Ileene Fjelstad.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Comstock Lutheran Church (2044 Main St, Comstock, MN 56525). A prayer was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family asks that memorials be directed to Comstock Lutheran Church.
