He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dahlin and Joanne Dahlin; his brother David Dahlin; and his parents-in-law, Glen and Dorothy Emmerich.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Dahlin (Emmerich); his children, Richard Dahlin, Ryan Dahlin (Amanda), Randy Dahlin and Katie Gast; his grandchildren, Isabella, Mason, Emma, Callie, Kelsey, Lillian and Owen; his daughters, Niranjala (Lakshman Rajan) and Linda Beth (Shannon Gilbertson); and his grandchildren, Dilshan, Rukshan and Logan. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please donate to either the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Moorhead, or the Grace Lutheran Church in Ada.
