Ralph A. Herbst Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 28, 2022, at the age of 82, Ralph A. Herbst of Moorhead, Minnesota, born in Frazee, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis "Louie" Herbst and Ruth Herbst (Fischer); his wife Evarae Rasmussen; his granddaughter Olivia Buth; his brothers, Roger and Harvey; and his nephews, Steven Kern and Bryton Pihlstrom.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Herbst of Barnesville, MN, Michelle Johnson (Ken) of Rosholt, SD, Melissa Lage (Jeff) of Waconia, MN and Melanie Buth (Tim) of Wolverton, MN; his grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Benjamin, Alexis, Matthew, Jesse, Madeline, Ian and Miranda; his great grandchildren, Elliot, Jackson, Taylan, Aiden, Kehlani, Kaia and Mason; his sisters, Marjean Kern and Nancy Pihlstrom (Ron) of Detroit Lakes, MN; and his sister-in-law Deb Herbst. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion at Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion - Rollag, MN and undesignated memorials will be donated to Vocational Education in memory of Ralph.
