He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cleave and Mildred Van Cleave (Jacobson); and his siblings, Annette Vargas, Robert Skaiem and Ralph Van Cleave.
He is survived by: his sister Myrtle Samuelson of Crookston, MN.; his wife Roxanne Lindstrom; his daughter Christina Knutson (Eugene); his grandchildren, Skyler Oliveira (John), Levi Brusacoram (Katy Geiger), Brittany Brusacoram (Kyle Jacobson), Brookelynn Mynatt (Thomas), Courtney Jodoin (John Sanders) and Ryan Knutson; and his sisters, Sharon Harms and Linda Danielson (Dennis Bahls). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
