She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Giese and Ella Giese; her husband Bud of Fargo, ND; her son Ryan "Rocky" Lau; and her siblings, Marlys, Donald, Dale and Myles (Mickey).
She is survived by: her children, Mari Jastram (Mike), Mitch Lau (Bobby Jo Schultz), Heidi Ness (Greg Lund), Luci Kovash (Curt) and Chad Lau (Sara Huey); her grandchildren, Mitch Lau, Jr. (Melanie), Ashley Lau, Zach Jastram (Gina), Sarah Gleason (Matt), Seth Jastram (Kari), Melissa Smith (Travis), Joey Lau (Natalie Taylor), Adam Kovash (Stephanie), Ella Kovash, Ana Lau, Trey Ness, Paityn Ness and Zander Ness; Steve Ness. She is also survived by her 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
