He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Ford and Louella Olson Ford Berland; his sister Yvonne Hanson; and his brother-in-law Michael Burke. He is survived by: his pet Jake; his daughters, Kellie Wiethorn of Aitkin, MN and April Lamon (Jamie) of Valdosta, GA.; his grandchildren, Amanda Wiethorn of Maplewood, MN, Mara Lamon of Valdosta, GA. and Tyler Lamon of Valdosta, GA.; his siblings, Donna Hansen (Gordon) of The Villages, FL, Sharon Burke of Spokane, WA, Linda Hensley (Keith) of Estero, FL, Lauri Pudwill (Randi) of Lino Lakes, MN., Ron Berland (Wendy) of Moorhead, MN and Don Berland (Cheri) of Glyndon, MN.; and his brother-in-law David Hanson of Evansville, MN.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home and Cremation Service- Hawley And (404 Leonard St, Hawley, MN 56549). A memorial service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fargo National Cemetery (8709 40th Ave NW, Harwood, ND 58042).
