He is survived by: his wife Ginger; his children, Billie Jo Smith (Brad), Ryan Erickson and Larry Geffre (Denise); and his siblings, Sheryl Altepeter (Mike), Kim Wikoff (Dan) and Brad Erickson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations to be made in his honor to HIA Hospice or Roger Maris Cancer Center.
