He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Michels and Elmer Michels; and his siblings, Billy, Ron, Patty and Peggy Blake.
He is survived by: his wife Jolinda Michels (Camrud); his children, Angie Christensen (Matt), Allison Smith (Travis), Scott Michels and Ednah Straka (Frank); his grandchildren, Emma Cullen (Scott Craig), Kya, Kallie Smith and Madeline Straka; his great grandchild Beckett Cullen-Craig; his brothers, Danny Michels (Linda) and Alan Michels; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Michels, Mark Camrud (Marsha) and Ann (Camrud); his parents-in-law, Ivan and Juanada Camrud; his brother-in-law Gael Larr; and his grandson Owen Cullen.
