He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Bertsch and Marie Bertsch; his son Jim; and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his brothers, Jim (Kathy Beus), Jerry (Marilyn) and Sandy; his daughter Lori Nimke (John); his grandchildren, Tanner Nimke (Hannah), Scott Nimke, Cody Bertsch, Sierra Reed (Dakota) and Leila Bertsch; and his stepgrandchildren, Skye Newman and Jaedon DeLong. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
