With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry McDermeit in Mora, Minnesota, born in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2026 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alymer McDermeit and Lois McDermeit (Hougham). He is survived by: his wife Wendi McDermeit (Ferrian); his children, Alissa McDermeit (Joshua Oquist) and Joshua McDermeit (Erin McDermeit); his grandchildren, Marek Polchow, Oskar, Koral Oquist and Otto McDermeit; his brother Michael McDermeit (Mary); his parents-in-law, Alvin and Carol Ferrian; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Ferrian (Kay), Sherlyn Tischner and Daisy Kono (Brian). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
